The game and songs work great but when I tried to play with my Xbox 360 X-plorer Guitar (the guitar hero 2 one), the computer says that I need software for the guitar to actually work. I went to Microsoft.com and downloaded the Xbox 360 controller driver but it's like nothing happened. The computer still can't find the driver it needs to go with the guitar. problem is i did everything it says in the instructions my copy is english/pc version and when i start up the game it loads the first loading screen and then just cuts off theres no error messages coming up or anything so i am really lost n gutted coz the songs sound brilliant

I saw Snakes work with getting custom songs on Guitar Hero III. This then led me to the site. I downloaded the crack and all the tools necessary to modify the data. Although one problem. The game doesn't support my graphics card. I have an nVidia GeForce 8600 and I'm running on a desktop PC with Windows Vista. Now I find this to be some heavy bullshit because it's probably the second or third best graphics card on the market. Does anyone know of a patch or some alternative way to play ... Most notes are regularly notes that you would have to strum on, but some notes are close enough that you do not have to strum on them. You can mostly tell if they tips of the notes have a "black ring" around the white spot of the note. Hammer-On's do not have the "black ring" around the top of the note. Although this is for GH3! The way you tell on gh2 and gh1 is pretty much telling if the notes are close together ...
